Biography

Addison Rutz joined PNNL in 2012 as a member of the Energy Policy and Economics Group. Addison provides research and analysis support for many projects involving technology tracking in EERE office programs. Mr. Rutz's prior work for the Department of Energy includes energy and emissions reduction analysis for EERE's Industrial Technologies Program.

In addition to his work on Department of Energy projects, Addison performed data collection for PNNL's Energy & Environment Directorate and PNNL's solid state lighting program. Prior to joining PNNL's technology tracking team, Addison’s previous work experience includes HAZMAT team member for Chevron and wildlands firefighting in the private sector. At the University of Idaho, Mr. Rutz performed studies of pyrolytic plastic waste remediation; this work received a commendation at the University of Idaho’s annual Engineering Expo.
