Biography

Clement Gaidon joined the PNNL’s Portland office in 2016 as a connected lighting engineer for the Solid State Lighting program. His main area of focus will be characterizing the energy performance and interoperability of connected lighting systems and identifying key technology improvements.

Prior to joining PNNL, Clement worked as a digital ASIC design engineer for the consumer electronics industry in Paris, where he was in charge of the verification and prototyping of a multi-million-gate System on Chip intended for civil drones and automotive infotainment systems. And as an embedded systems design engineer for the aerospace industry in Palo Alto, where he worked on the validation and testing of spacecraft encryption, telemetry and command subsystems.
