Biography

Since joining PNNL in 2010, Scott Morris's work has included project management, statistics, economics, regulatory writing, and team leadership responsibilities. Currently, he does analyses, project management, and technical writing for the U.S. Army's Office of Energy Initiatives (OEI). As an OEI Deputy Project Manager, he serves as a conduit between PNNL staff in Washington, D.C., and in Richland, WA. He leads the cybersecurity team that supports OEI. In this role, he harnesses the collective experience of the many team members to provide solutions for complex cybersecurity concerns and issues inherent in the projects that OEI advances. Scott previously worked within the Appliance and Commercial Equipment Standards (ACES) program, helping the DOE establish minimum efficiency regulations for commercial and industrial equipment.
